The first book Ryan ever read about property was ‘Real Estate Riches’ by Dolf de Roos over 2 decades ago! Since then, he has had a strong interest in investing in business, the stock market, and of course, property. He even has an investment collection of unopened, limited-edition Lego with his favourite being the ‘Architecture’ series! Ryan built a trusty number crunching property analyser that we have used for years to assess deal viability for our personal portfolio. He often recalls the funny story of his grandmother who, whilst her husband was away helping with the war effort, kept ‘collecting’ properties in exchange for loans they had given to family and friends! By the time her husband had retired from the army, his wife had acquired vast parcels of land! Growing a healthy property portfolio for his children, has been Ryan’s passion for years.

Peta and Ryan bought a new principal place of residence in 2010, and their first interstate investment in 2016! Our individual strengths in property investing make us a powerful combination that works together seamlessly, creating a highly effective team. Development of an effective property strategy at the start of our journey, allowed us to build a balanced portfolio of growth and yield deals. We started out like any other beginner, with a very low appetite for risk. Peta even recalls feeling physically sick the day she signed her first purchase contract! Now, years later with extensive experience under our belts and trust in our network of property professionals, we find ourselves purchasing properties sight unseen provided the data stacks up! We have also managed several renovation projects across our portfolio both structural and cosmetic, and in many instances, have managed these remotely. Peta and Ryan now own multiple investment properties across 4 states! We have rented to 8 pet types including a frill necked lizard!

Peta and Ryan have over 18 years of experience in buying property. Together, they have built a successful portfolio that will provide for their retirement and build intergenerational wealth for their children.
